An Intimate Autumn Celebration at Boxwood Villa

Charlotte and William’s late September wedding at Boxwood Villa glowed in radiant sunlight and brilliant early autumn color. The Charlottesville wedding venue’s old world gardens and subtle romantic glamour embraced the couple, offering up gorgeous photography among beautiful boxwood bushes, magical sprawling meadows and towering oak tree canopies.

Photographers with Robert Radifera Photography showcased the day’s details in the bride’s navy blue heels with bright red soles, traditional flowing veil, stunning modern spaghetti strapped gown and classic beauty in red lipstick and pearls. Bridesmaids wore deep garnet dresses and an intimate ceremony took place on the home’s lush green lawn.

Charlottesville wedding planners from The Hive Wedding Collective added personalized touches, telling the couple’s story through a bride and groom motorcycle getaway cake topper (the exact way the newlyweds exited their celebration in a sea of bubbles blown by guests) and love is patient, love is kind Bible verses in white calligraphy on aisle marker wood signs.

Guests flowed from the property's spacious manor home to cocktail hour on the lawn and into the grand reception event tent where Blue Ridge Cafe and Catering dazzled with regional fare and top-tier hospitality.
